Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) stresses on the `uncool’ Samsung Galaxy on its website

Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL), which has complied with a U.K. court order to state on its website that Samsung did not infringe on its iPad design, has also added the judge's comment, who said that Samsung's devices are "not as cool."

Apple lost the patent battle against Samsung in a High Court in London on October 18, with the judge saying that the look of Samsung Galaxy Tab computers were not too similar to designs registered in connection with the iPad.

The original ruling was passed in July and the judge had commented then that Samsung’s devices were "not as cool" because they lacked Apple's "extreme simplicity."

The court ruled that Apple needed to run ads saying that Samsung had not infringed on its patent rights and also display a link to the judgement on its website.

At the time Apple had argued unsuccessfully in court that mentioning Samsung on its site would be in effect a free advertisement for its rival.

The text lets visitors know that "the High Court of Justice in England and Wales ruled on July 9, 2012, that Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1, Tab 8.9 and Tab 7.7 do not infringe on Apple's design patent No. 0000181607-0001."

The text also goes on to say that the judge mad a number of important points when comparing the two devices. The judge also sad that the iPad was an "understated, smooth and simple product. It is a cool design."

The Samsung devices were dismissed as "insubstantial members of the company's product lineup with unusual details on the back, according to the judge.
