Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s North American Mobile Web Traffic for Apple Hits a High

Apple Inc.(NASDAQ:AAPL), the world’s largest company, never fails to disappoint. According to a recent report, the company’s mobile web traffic went up 5.96% and the shipping of the 4th generation iPod touch also contributed to it. Research firm Chitika states that Apple has captured 65.38% of the traffic advertising network, across the millions of devices that are monitored on a daily basis. Other manufacturers experienced a drop in shares, with Samsung losing the most ground.

However, Apple had also experienced similar trends back in September. It had lost share in the last month, with the 65.03% going down to 59.42%, after all the data from the traffic had been collated. Ironically, it was the largest growth of any individual manufacturer during the same period and it was Samsung that ruled the roost. RIM did surprising well too, with the biggest growth rate of 1.29%, apart from Apple between September and October. Their rise happened due to the increase in PlayBook browsing.

Chitika has said that Google will take on these companies head on via additional profits due to the improved Nexus 7 devices and Nexus 10 of course. The iPad 4th generation and iPad Mini are expected to perform tremendously as they will be dispatched to customers and wind up in stores on 2nd November. According to Apple’s data, it has maintained a stable growth rate, apart from the drop in September and the shares shooting up in October. But a brand new device powered by iOS could significantly alter the entire equation.
